Cardiff first thing Friday for me, walked in from the outskirts and explored all the “nooks and crannies” and little arcades. Then I bumped into Paul and Nick (who had no idea I was in Cardiff and vice versa so that was a chance in a million thing!) so I shopped with them. The we walked MILES in the rain down to the Quay and saw the bits where Torchwood is filmed, after that I went to the hotel with me pal Alex, had a lovely pasta and xmas pud dinner then went to see the White Lies gig which was crap, a mixture of zero stage presence and a crowd that couldn’t give a toss and were just out for a p*ss up, bleedin students! We went back hotel where I got hammered 3-0 at pool then got the beers in.

Saturday we got the park and ride into Cardiff and shopped, saw the police removing a dead person from the street (well behind screens), got invited to a “pink” foam party and raided the Borders closing down sale. We then drove to the Lucy’s and watched Transformers 2 and had an Indian, with the pub inbetween.

Got up at 7 Sunday and left Lucy’s at 7:40 so we could be in Leics for 9am to do the Viccy Park Santa charity run. 1 mile of very painful (well it hurts now!) race, dressed as Santa. I came about 13 out of maybe 150 so didn’t do bad, friends pal won it. Spent rest of Sun at home in bed watching tv and relaxing then photographed me star wars collection (sad but needed).

HOLLYWOOD star Charlie Sheen has stunned Americans by claiming the US Government were behind the 9/11 atrocity.

Sheen appealed to President Barack Obama to hold a new investigation into the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC.

Sheen, 44, the highest paid actor on US TV, said the official 9/11 story is "an absolute fairytale, a complete work of fiction and not a very good one".

He claims the attacks served as "the pretext for the dismantling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights" and to justify war on Iraq.

He also hints that Osama bin Laden works for the US government.

One quick google search of the Loggerheads Public House in Notts, where we are staying threw up THIS.

Further Comments: This little girl is said to enjoy playing along the corridors in the upper part of the building. The bar downstairs is home to a First World War officer, a Cavalier, and even possibly Dick Turpin who once stayed here en route to York.
